Approximately 400 feet of waxed artificial sinew.

This is a good quality, US made sinew. It is a flat sinew with a wax coating that makes it very easy to work with. It is rated at 50 lbs breaking strength.

I find one roll more than enough to build a boat. However, I am seeing many first timer builders that are ordering a second roll saying they ran out near the end of the project.

can t even think of making a sof without it. very strong,and easy to use.

After viewing the videos prepared by Kudzu Kraft I decided to lash my kayak with the artificial sinew. The product is as advertised and after a couple of joints I was constructing tight well formed lashings. At this point I have used the kayak over a season and the joints have not moved at all. The sinew is as strong as advertised.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
